About Fine Hair Bible
Privacy
This site stores your email address only if you type it in, and it sends you one message. This page says exactly what is kept and how to have it deleted.
Reading the site
The site runs no analytics script, places no tracking pixel, and sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare serves the pages and keeps request logs at its edge, and Cloudflare's privacy policy covers those logs.
If you switch between the light and dark theme, the choice is stored in your browser only. It never reaches the site.
When you give your email address
The page with the three checks offers to send them to you as a file. If you enter your address, the site stores four things in its own database:
- your email address, in lowercase
- the time you submitted it
- the page you submitted it from
- your result from the checks, if you had one on the page at the time
The address is stored once. If you submit it again, nothing new is stored and nothing new is sent.
What is sent
You get one plain-text email with a link to the file. That is the single send. There is no newsletter, no follow-up, and no second message unless you write to the site first. If the email never arrives, the same link is on the page you land on after submitting, so you never need the email to get the file.
The email goes out through Cloudflare's email service from this site's own address. No other company receives your address.
How to be removed
Write to editor@finehairbible.com from the address you want deleted, or name it in the message. The row is deleted within seven days and you get one reply confirming it.
Photos you send
If you send a photo, it is kept only with your signed release. The release text says what you grant, that a photo is edited for size only, and how to withdraw it. Nothing about you is published unless you ask for your name to appear.
